2. Eligibility for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund or store credit in the following cases:
- Damaged Products: If your order arrives damaged due to shipping (Mandatory: Unboxing video required).
- Wrong Items: If you receive products different from what you ordered.
- Quality Issues: If the product does not meet our high quality standards.
- Missing Items: If items from your order are missing (Mandatory: Unboxing video required).
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- Email us at contact@biharidelights.in with your order number.
- Include a clear unboxing video showing the issue with the product/packaging.
- Describe the problem in detail.
Our team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.
4. Refund Methods & Timelines
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed through Razorpay:
- Original Payment Method: Refunded to the same account/card used for purchase.
- Store Credit: Issued as a coupon code for future use (valid for 6 months).
Since we offer free shipping across India, no shipping fee refunds will apply. Refunds typically take 5-7 business days to reflect in your account post-approval.
5. Non-Refundable Cases & Limitations
We cannot offer refunds in the following situations:
- Change of mind after 12 hours of placing the order.
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
- Products consumed or used beyond tasting.
- Requests made after 24 hours of delivery.
- Minor Variations: Natural differences in handmade products (slight shape/texture changes).
6. Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund within 12 hours of placement, provided they have not been dispatched yet. Once the order is in transit or 12 hours have passed, cancellation is generally not possible.
Edge Case: If your order preparation has not yet commenced, we may consider a cancellation request beyond the 12-hour window at our sole discretion. To cancel, contact us immediately at contact@biharidelights.in.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Patna, Bihar.
